The network of cross-country ski trails covers both the eastern and the western side of Kvitfjell.
A number of excellent roundtrips enable skiers to enjoy the mountains (above the tree-line) as well as a varied forest terrain.

As part of the World of Peer Gynt, Kvitfjell can offer over 1,000 km of machine-groomed ski trails, and the area borders Skeikampen to the south and Gålå to the west.

Public transport
There is a bus running several times daily from Lillehammer Skysstasjon to Kvitfjell Alpinsenter/ GudbrandsGard Hotel. For up-to-date timetables, we recommend using the national route planner Entur (also available as app: Entur for IOS and Entur for Android).
Skisporet.no offers a map on which the various trails are displayed, and provides real-time data on track grooming
Skisporet.no covers most of the region’s trail network, and offers up-to-date grooming status. Details on altitude and length are also provided.
We also recommend downloading the Skisporet app, as this will show your location in the trail network when the GPS function on your phone is activated (Skisporet for IOS and Skisporet for Android).
