This stretch is characterised by the long straight line of the path that originates back to when the Kongevegen was originally developed. Information signs along the route provide you with more information about the construction work. Along this stage you will pass the highest point along the whole Kongeveien over Filefjell (approx. 1200 m.a.s.l.) and enjoy a great view of the Hurrungane massif in clear weather.
