The cycle route starts at Dokka station. It is a tranquil and pleasant route that follows the north bank of the river Etna to Nordsinni, and then returns to Dokka along the south bank.
Set off along the street Storgata and head west towards the Dokka bridge towards road Rv 33. Just before you reach the Rv 33 you turn right into Kolterudsvegen.
Follow this road until you reach the pedestrian/bike path along the Rv 33. Continue on the bike path until it ends at Baggerudsmoen in Nordsinni.
Now turn left and cross the bridge Øiomsbrua.
Next to the bridge you will find one of the most popular bathing spots in Dokka. The river flows slowly here and you can swim both upstream and downstream. This is also a good starting point for a canoe trip downstream towards the Dokka delta.
From the bridge continue into Sandmovegen. Turn left and follow the road east towards Dokka. When you reach Jevnakerveien, turn left across the bridge Kolbjørnshusbrua over the Rv 33 and return to the railway station.
