The Bergh Brygga (wharft) is the heart of Leirfjord Museum. Travel back in time as you visit the old shop with original inventory and merchendise way past its "best before date". This museum will add flavour to your travels along Kystriksveien.
Welcome to Leirfjord Museum!
The community collection consists of Bergh-Brygga, also called Berghs Landhandleri (old country store), Gammelskolen (the old school building), Reinesnaustet, Reinesbrygga and Kvernhuset in Meisfjord. Bergh Brygga and Gammelskolen are located on Leland. Here you can visit the old shop which has original furnishings from the year 1900, and has a selection of goods from 1930-1985.
The old school is also located on the site, and it was Leirfjord's first permanent school building, built in the 1880s. See the original classroom and the teacher's apartment. This building is only open on request.
