Overview

We offer a broad selection of hiking adventures. We have local guides with expert knowledge and know how. We’ll be happy to show you our secluded Salten gems!

Destination depends on season, number of persons and fitness. Feel free to contact us for a personal offer.
Ingeborgfossen: (The Ingeborg waterfalls)
We start at the bridge at Botnvatn and follow the road upwards towards Ingeborgfossen. The path goes in light terrain, except for the last 200-300 meters towards the falls. Here the path is narrow and a bit steeper. The trip gives a great view and is suitable for everyone.
Tangodden:
During the first part of the trip, we walk on an old carriage path. Here we pass the old Halsgården. The carriage path eventually turns into a smaller track leading us the last kilometres to Tangodden. In earlier times the cliffs and stones in the area were used for drying “Klippfisk” which is dried and salted cod. At the end of Tangodden we find a Lighthouse. It was originally built in 1909 but has been modernized several times since then. Here we can sit down and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee
Storflåget
We start the trip from “Linebakken”, about 5 minutes from Rognan Hotel. Here we follow a well-marked trail all the way up to Storflåget. The trip has a relatively steep climb up to “Litjflåget” (first 2/3 of the trip). The last 1/3 towards the top is also going uphill, but the path is slightly less steep. At the top a magnificent view of Rognan city centre, Saltfjorden, Ørfjellet in the south and the Sulis Mountains in the east awaits.
