Lillehammer Town centre

Lillehammer has been an important trading area since 1300s. River Mesna runs like an artery through the town ans has been an important factor for Lillehammer getting the city status at 1842. 

The centre of Lillehammer is known as a UNIK town with its charming shopping environment, its culture and nice atmosphere. The old wooden buildings make the walking street really special combined with modern and interesting shops. You'll find a lot of specialized stores and a variety og shops offering clothes, shoes, sports, jewelry, watches, interior, flowers, craft products, souvenirs and grocery store.
