Sjusjøen and Nordseter offer around 350 kilometers of well-groomed cross-country ski trails in easy forest and mountain terrain, ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers. The area has direct trail connection to Lillehammer, the Hafjell area and the famous Olympic trails at Birkebeiner Ski Stadium. In addition, about 200 kilometers of the trails are adapted for skating, which provides varied skiing pleasure.
This mountain landscape is a skiing eldorado with its snow security and long winter season, which lasts from November to the end of April. The month of March has an average snow depth of 112 cm. Over the years, major investments have been made in the ski slopes, including marking and grooming. Here you will find both forest trails and mountain trails, well signposted and marked with distance indications. In the area around Lillehammer there are also around 30 kilometers of floodlit trails, the longest of which is located at Birkebeiner Ski Stadium.
