This Lofoten fishery was a key factor in the foundation of Norway's development as a country and is still one of the world's largest seasonal fisheries. The majority of the cod have been and are still caught in Lofoten.
On this weekend fishing trip, you will be fishing with a fishing rod or reel, and no experience is needed. Whether you are a seasoned fisher or beginner, the crew will help teach you how to use the equipment onboard the yacht. The chances of catching a big Atlantic cod are almost guaranteed. The fish can be prepared for your meal onboard, or you can bring it home.
