Nice little round through and behind downtown Sauda. Sauda is a sizeable town with a rich industrial heritage and culture. At its heart are several hotels, a wide choice of shops and galleries.
This round takes you out of the centre, passed the sportsfields and up the banks of the river Storelva, before you come back through the industrial township of Åbøbyen with its grand old villas. The walk is suitable for the entire family, including small children.
In Sauda there is also an indoor swimmingpool in the Saudahallen. Here, you should also check out the Fagerheimsamlinga - the artistic work of Ola Fagerheim with about 100 tree carvings displaying life and lifestyles in western Norway around the year 1900.
