Experience with our guide team the giant blue ice world of the NIGARDSBREEN Glacier nearby the Sognefjord and learn about the exciting nature of the Jostedalsglacier. The trip is long enough to seek out some of the most impressive areas of the blue ice landscape.
This glacier hike is more demanding than the Short Blue Ice Hike. The route passes through some more challenging and steeper parts of the glacier and as a reward you get a great view of the snow-covered Jostedalsbreen and the upper part of Nigardsbreen.

Ca. 5,5 hours, on ice ca. 2,5 hours.

Until September 15th. After that date arranged as a private hike only.
What is included
Glacier equipment and the transportation with the boat.
What to Bring
Backpack, warm, wind- and waterproof clothing, sunglasses, gloves, lunch package, gloves and solid shoes (trekking boots or sport shoes). The clothing must cover the whole body (no shorts or skirts without leggings).
Gloves you can borrow from us, if needed, but we do not have smal sizes.
