This sightseeing tour takes us comfortably leads us almost over the entire road network of Longyearbyen and the surrounding area with many photo-stops along the way. All highlights will be explained and visited. The tour starts in the diverse Adventdalen, where a part of the Svalbard wildlife, a lot of history, coal mines, research stations and great views await us.

We continue to the west of the settlement, the airport area with a second beautiful viewpoint, the world-famous global seed Vault and among others the Arctic World Archive. At the end o of the tour we visit Longyeardalen and the settlement where exciting details about the daily life of the settlement in the past but also today are explained. The long-time and local guide leads the tour in English, but can also give information in Norwegian and German in between conversations. The perfect start for your Svalbard trip and recommended as a first tour to get a good overview and important info.

Important information
- No drinks or snacks are served on this tour.
- A joint lunch with the guide after the tour can be booked spontaneously for NOK 400.- fixed price (the amount can be divided among the participants) depending on availability. Food and drinks are not included, but the guide pays for his own food. If you are interested, just book spontaneously on the tour.
- There are no special discounts for children on this tour.
- We are happy to assist wheelchair users or persons with other disabilities, but the bus has no special adaptations. A folding wheelchair can be carried in the boot.

The settlement of Longyearbyen, the global seed vault, university, church, cemetery, huset, hospital, local council building, power plant, the governor's mansion, the governor's office, dog kennel, EISCAT radars & Kjell Henriksen observatory (in good visibility), Coalmines number 1-7, Operafjellet, Hotellneset, airport and much more.

Pick up:
You will be picked up at your accommodation and brought back at the end of the tour.
