Join us for an exiting dogsledding adventure in the heart of Lyngen, specifically , the Svensby area.
You will be greeted by 60 happy Alasken Huskies, waiting for you to run and cuddle!
Drive your own team of dogs through the scenic landscape, surrounded by the Lyngen Alps.
After a short explanation of how to handle the dogs and sleds, you will set off in pairs. One will be the "musher" (driver) and the other sits in the sled. You swap places during the trip.
The huskies love running on the hilly tracks and wilderness in the Svensby area, and you need to be a part of the team and help them up the hills. It is a fun experience, but also a physical workout.
Season: Daily from 1.December - 5.April (subject to weather conditions)
Duration: 3 - 3.5 hours
Number of guests: 2 - 16
Age limit: Not suitable for children under 12 years, but accompanied by guardians from 6 years.
What to bring: warm hat, socks and gloves.
Included: Thermal Winter suit and winterboots. Warm Lunch/soup.
Level: Medium. Husky mushing is for almost everyone, but you need to be physically healthy, as you will need to run and push the sled uphill.
If you have questions or doubts, please let us know.
