Visit the villages along the Lysefjord! Take the ferry from Stavanger or Lysebotn, departure every day all summer.
All departures must be prebooked to guarantee boarding.,
The ferries have very limited car capacity. You must book in advance. It is not possible to take a bus or motorhome onboard.
The following quays are roadless / you cannot take a car there: Revså kai, Bratteli, Bakken, Flørli, Kallali and Håheller. We encourage all visitors to travel as passengers as much as possible and park at Lauvvik, Forsand, Songesand, Lysebotn or in Stavanger.
When traveling to Kjerag, we strongly recommend traveling on the ferry as a passenger, without a car. From Lysebotn, you can take the SBK shuttle bus to Kjerag Parkering.
There are very few bus connections that correspond with ferry departures/arrivals at Lauvvik (,bus schedule,) and Forsand (,bus schedule,). Please check the bus schedules carefully.
From Forsand, you can also arrange transport with ,Pelle’s reiser, or ,Strand taxi,.
