Bring your friends and relatives for adventure at the boat trip. M/S Strømsfoss can offer you an unique experience on the Halden canal. The Halden Canal is the oldest canal in Norway. It was built between 1852 and 1860. Already in 1861 the locks in Stenselva were destroyed by waterpressure and were not rebuilt until 1877.

Furthest south we find Brekke locks, 4 locks with a lift height totalling 26.7 meters and the Northern Europe's highest lock system. Further north we find Strømsfoss lock and Ørje locks with three locks have a lift height of 10 m. The locks can be navigated by boats that are up to 25,5 meters in length, 6 m wide and 1.6 m deep. On board you will be served meals and all sorts of drinks.

The boattrips for scheduled times is over for this year.

We vill bring you times for 2018 as fast as we have these.
