Mandal Guest Harbor

Mandal Guest Harbour, which was named Guest Harbour of the Year 2026 by Båtmagasinet, is located right in the heart of Mandal!

The guest harbour stretches from the entrance to the Mandal River and continues along the river that flows through the center of the beautiful small southern Norwegian town.

From the quay, it is only a short walk to Sjøsanden — with its more than 800-meter-long sandy beach — as well as the other beaches in Furulunden. When arriving by boat in Mandal, you can stay either at the guest harbour at Kastellet or along Bryggegata in the town center. Harbour fees apply for boats staying between 6:00 PM and 10:00 AM the following day. Daytime stays in the harbour are free of charge. The sanitary facilities include showers, toilets, washing machines, and tumble dryers, and there is also a partially staffed tourist information office.

During the summer months, friendly harbour hosts welcome you, gladly assisting with mooring your boat, offering complimentary breakfast rolls to overnight guests, and answering any questions you may have about experiences and attractions throughout the Lindesnes region.

The guest harbour quay is accessible all year round. Harbour cards can be purchased from the ticket machine and provide access to the service facilities, showers, and washing machines.
