At Matgal paradis you will find both Baradis, a local bar in paradis, the Chefs Table restaurant concept as well as meat and bakery outlets.
"Chef's Table" is an intimate and very special dining experience. Here you will be served tasting menus composed of seasonal ingredients - which you can see the chef preparing. Accompanied by carefully selected drinks that our wine sommelier has selected, the experience becomes complete. Throughout the evening you will be served both shellfish, fish, meat, vegetables and something sweet, in addition to various snacks between courses. Stories about the origin of the food and drink are naturally included.
We only book one table setting for the evening - simply because we don't know how long the dinner will take, or how many snack dishes will be served along the way. Every night is unique!
Choose to book the whole evening for you and your guests, or book on "open" days, where dinner takes place together with other guests - all on the same menu. The chef's table is also perfect for corporate events if you are looking for a special evening with colleagues or customers. Groups of more than 10 people can have the venue themselves.
At baradis we are open every Friday and Saturday from 17.00. We will have various themed evenings throughout the year, and you can experience everything from Champagne and cheeses to the Bergen classic Skillingsbolle paired with port wine.
The meat and baked goods sale contains a good selection of products both from local providers, but also from abroad. We focus on quality, and strive to keep the offer local.
