Matstova makes its traditional food on the premises in Oppstryn, which is just by the Jostedalsbreen National Park Centre.

Matstova in Oppstryn is open daily from mid-June to mid-August. All production for the café and bakery outlet in Stryn also takes place here.

Fresh baked goods are offered daily, along with cakes, sandwiches, and hot meals. On Sundays, the popular and traditional meal sosakjøt is served as a hot buffet. Matstova also welcomes private functions throughout the year and offers catering services, as well as cake delivery for all occasions. In the lead-up to Christmas, there is production of traditional soft flatbread (lefser) and Christmas cookies.
