There is nothing better to learn about Longyearbyen from a lokal guide from Svalbard. Our guide has lived in Svalbard for several years and is an approved and certified local history guide.

Longyearbyen has a rich history, and then it is nice to be able to be guided by someone who is locally known in the area. Our guides have their daily work on Svalbard, and therefore know the area and its history very well.

This is a perfect trip for you if it’s your first time to visit Svalbard. The tour gives you a basic insight into too rich history of the area. You get a good basic knowledge, which also you will benefit if you want to learn more about Longyearbyen, we can say it is the foundation where you can build your knowledge about Svalbard.

We end the trip at one of our local cafes(included), where we also have a small snack.

You will get many good tips from our guide along the way. It is important to us that you feel taken care of from start to finish.

This is a nice trip that starts early. This gives you the opportunity to plan other activities after the tour, from 13.00 onwards.
