On the Stølsvidda high plateau, situated between the regions of Valdres, Hallingdal and Hemsedal, families find a landscape with a farm road network which is perfect for cyclists of all ages. Combine your cycling trip with easy hikes, a dip in a lake, a visit to a mountain farm and great nature and cultural experiences. This is Norway's larges active mountain farming area, and you likely will encounter free grazing animals along the road. Along the trip, there are several beautiful rest areas, swimming spots and lakes and rivers for fishing.
This cycling package suits families with children from approx. 12 years and older who want to cycle the whole trip on their own as well as beginners on a several-day cycling trip. Due to a shorter trail section, the trip is not suitable for trailers.
