Mogen Turisthytte
Mogen Turisthytte is situated at the west end of Møsvatn in Vinje municipality, and is one of Hardangervidda oldest tourist cabins. Many choose Mogen as a base for day trips in the area or as a starting point for hut to hut trip across the plateau.

From here, you have access to short walks, longer hikes, summit tours, and fishing trips.
Take a stroll along the Kvenna river, watch the fjord horses graze, see the trout rise, and hear the waterfall roar.
Practical Information:
Mogen offers 48 beds in 2-, 3-, and 4-person rooms. The 4-person rooms have bunk beds, and some 5- and 6-person rooms have sleeping lofts. Guests can either bring their own sleeping bag liner or rent bed linen at the cabin. Showers and toilets are located in the hallway on the same floor as the rooms.
