Overview

Hike with view of Hoddevik.

There are two routes to Mosekleivhornet:

Dragseidet - Mosekleivhornet. It is 16.5 km t / r and 996 altitude meters
Park in the parking lot at the Viking village on the Dragseidet between Stadlandet and Drage. Here Christian King Olav Trygvason 4 counties (Sygna, Firda, Sunnmøre and Raumsdal county) in the year 997! It is also the place for the start of the mountain race Stadlandet Rett Vest (13.2 km) which runs in May quarter year. Follow the signs and red sticks to the top. The trail goes into heather and several short hints of marsh. The trail runs smoothly and uphill towards Vardeberget. Up on Vardeberget you have nice views but not a 360 degree round view. Then it is better to continue the trip to Grøtrøysa which is about as far as from the Dragseidet to Vardeberget. Follow the labeling Stadlandet Rett Vest trail. You have to cross Langedalsnibba and Solumskard before Hoddeviksfjellet and the last sloping climb towards Mosekleivhornet. There is a 200m detour to the left from the Straight West trail to the Mosekleivhornet with great views to Hoddevik at the top.

If you want a shorter ride than the trip back to Dragseidet 16.5 km you can continue the Stadlandet Rett Vest trail to Stad Grendahus in Ervik (Refsnes (total 13.2 km, approx. 3 hours and 600 altitude meters). in Ervik (Stad grendahus) for return to Dragseidet.

From Ervik - Mosekleivhornet. It is 8.4 km / h and 488 meters high
Can of course take the trip from Stad Grendahus in Ervik (Refsnes). Then it is 8.4 km and it is better to follow the marking from the Grendahuset. The trail goes around the Grendahuset and through the gate at the back, you also turn left after the gate. Slightly steep cliffs at first also some soft terrain before it is dry and nice ascent to Mosekleivhornet.
