In the mountains the snow remains longer. We go dogsledding 400 m above sea level enjoying the beautiful view over Adventdalen and the surrounding mountains.
In the mountains the snow remains longer, which makes it possible to go dogsledding in summer.
We pick you up in Longyearbyen and drive through Adventdalen to Bolterdalen where we have our husky kennel. Here you get warm clothes and boots for the trip, and we put our huskies in their transport cages on our trailer before we drive up to Breinosa – 400 m above sea level. Here we harness our dogs and drive 2 guests per sled enjoying the majestic view over Adventdalen and Isfjorden. Warm drinks and biscuits will be offered during the trip which takes around 4.5 hours from pick up to return to Longyearbyen.
For custom-made family trips contact us on post@huskytravellers.com.
With Husky Travellers you will get to be in close contact with our friendly huskies - we are a small family company with 45 dogs and have been actively running sled dogs for over 20 years. We offer trips to individual guests, families, and small groups (max 6 guests).
