Discover Svalbard with ski and snowmobile
The day begins with pickup from your hotels and transport down to our headquarters. Here we give a briefing about the upcoming trip and the route choices, before we dress in warm snowmobile touring equipment and load our other equipment onto the snowmobile sledges. Within the area around Longyearbyen lie several mountain ranges and glaciers with great slopes and superb views over the surrounding area making for excellent skiing, we drive to different areas depending on up-to-date snow and weather conditions. In the absence of ski lifts we use our snowmobiles to ensure that we can make the most of the time and slopes that we have. We expect to return early-evening after an expedition lunch out in the nature, with coffee and other refreshments provided. If time allows then we will ski a couple of extra slopes on the way back. Our friendly and professional guides have all the experience and drive to make this an unforgettable experience, while remaining safe in such a wild and unforgiving environment.
We recommend that everyone drives their own snowmobile; this is easier than driving with a passenger. This trip is dependent on weather and ice conditions, especially early and late in the season, as well as a minimum number of participants.
