MS Teppa, fleet with overnight accommodation at Glomma
Are you looking for a completely unique experience? A little "Huckleberry Finn", only with better comfort. Then you can just read on.
MS Teppa was launched in June 2022, and is now ready for adventure down the river Glomma. (Norway longest river)
MS Teppa is a 40 sqm raft that is designed to travel in the same waterway as the timber has been transported for many hundreds of years.
The fleet's base is at Nes Lensemuseum in Skiptvet municipality, where the host drive you by boat to the fleet.
"Nature comes close, and you will feel the forces of the river, weather and wind"
You can either spend the night when the raft is at anchor at an idyllic place in the middle of the river or anchor up by land. It is magical to be in the middle of the river in the evenings with a fire in the fire pan on board. In many places in Glomma there are nice coves where you can swim and enjoy yourself.
You can stay up to 6 people. There is a fire pit and toilet on board.
The fleet is also a good starting point for photographing animals and birds.
