At the museum farm Ørpetveit you will be introduced to a traditional local farm from the 1950s. The buildings and the landscape reflect the running of a medium-sized farm between the years 1850 and 1950. The farm consists of several buildings: a farmhouse, a barn with a cowshed, a well, a multipurpose eldhus, a hencoop and a potato cellar.
The museum provides children with a chance to see the hens in the henhouse, and the sheep in the fields as they graze in the cultural landscape.
An information board and map is available. Guided tours of the buildings during the summer by arrangement.
