Norway´s largest collection of Stone Age dwellings and implements was discowered in Ås.
Nøstvedt farm is situated in Ås. These finds at the property, next to the Bunne fjord led to the identification of the Nøstvedt culture, one of the three prehistoric cultures in Norway 4000 – 5000 years BC.
