See & Explore is an Norwegian company established in Longyearbyen and our speciality is wildlife and photography.

Most of our guides are photographers and authorized Svalbard guides.

Join us for a memorable introduction to the wildlife and natural beauty surrounding Longyearbyen.
After we pick you up, we’ll head out of town and explore a variety of scenic spots, making several stops along the way depending on what we see and find.

Every day offers something new!
Our journey includes a gentle walk on mostly flat terrain, suitable for most fitness levels.
The ground can be wet or uneven in places — especially where the best wildlife viewing opportunities await — so good footwear is recommended. Depending on the day and weather, we may encounter Svalbard reindeer, a curious Arctic fox (whose coat is darker at this time of year), and a wide range of bird species.

We’ll also keep an eye out for walruses, seals, and even whales, which often feed close to the coastline.

In summer, the Arctic tundra bursts into life with delicate flowers and mosses — a rare and beautiful sight so far north.

Throughout the tour, you’ll enjoy magnificent views of fjords, valleys, and distant glaciers, while learning about Svalbard’s wildlife, climate, and fragile ecosystem from our experienced local guide.
