About Nordfjeld Gjestegård
Nordfjeld Gjestegård is located 195 meters above sea level in Eidskog municipality, surrounded by almost 40,000 acres of forest and natural areas. A unique accommodation where the history of the farm is combined with modern art and gives joy to the soul and eyes.

At Nordfjeld it really is "old meets new". The collection of modern art, furniture and peasant antiques runs like a common thread through all the rooms.

It is known that there has been operation at Nordfjeld since 1414, for 600 years. From 1902 the property had been owned by the Stang family and in 2003 Hans Rasmus Astrup took over the property on odel. Astrup left a thorough mark on the property and invested a lot in what we know as Nordfjeld today. The business was expanded, and the course and conference center on the property became a reality. Nordfjeld Gjestegård is now owned by Erik Tømmeraas Veiby.

Accommodation
With us at Nordfjeld, you can enjoy a good night's sleep in quiet surroundings. Both the main house and the other houses on the farm have rooms of a very good standard, for you and your company. With us, you can get a real hotel feel, but also the freedom to live by yourself far into the forest.
