With the very edge of the mountains as starting point, visitors have every opportunity to experience cross-country skiing at its best.

The network of trails connects to the Lillehammer, Hafjell and Sjusjøen networks, and over 2,500 km of trails are available in total.

The mountain plateaus, offering cross-country ski trails through open and gentle terrain, are within easy reach.

If the weather turns bad, the forests close by provide excellent shelter from the wind.

Nordseter offers excellent ski and equipment hire facilities.

Public transport
There is a bus running several times daily from Lillehammer Skysstasjon to Nordseter. For up-to-date timetables, we recommend using the national route planner Entur (also available as app: Entur for IOS and Entur for Android).

Skisporet.no offers a map on which the various trails are displayed, and provides real-time data on track grooming
Skisporet.no covers most of the region’s trail network, and offers up-to-date grooming status. Details on altitude and length are also provided.

We also recommend downloading the Skisporet app, as this will show your location in the trail network when the GPS function on your phone is activated (Skisporet for IOS and Skisporet for Android).
