This tour is conducted by Rødne Fjord Cruise. Hunt the magical Northern Lights in the darkness of Polar Night aboard a spacious, comfortable sightseeing catamaran on this three-hour evening cruise from Tromsø.
Join us as we hunt the magical Northern Lights in the darkness of Polar Night. This three-hour cruise aboard our new, spacious and comfortable sightseeing catamaran MS Rygerdronningen takes you on a unique search for the mystic, fascinating Aurora Borealis.
In winter, the sun sets in Tromsø on 27 November and doesn’t rise until 15 January. That creates perfect conditions for seeing the Northern Lights dancing in the sky. You can see the Aurora through the panoramic windows of our warm, cozy cabin and then head out into the crisp Arctic air on our spacious decks for an even clearer view of this amazing phenomenon.
MS Rygerdronningen is a perfect boat for comfortable a Northern Lights safari in the cold, far north. Its twin-hull design makes it stable even in rough seas. It also has a snack bar selling food as well as hot and cold drinks.
While our expert crews will do everything possible to show you the Aurora, it is a natural phenomenon that we can’t guarantee. But if you don’t experience the Northern Lights, we will give you a free ticket to the next available Northern Lights safari on our boat. The guarantee can only be used once.
