Norwegian Aquaculture Centre – Northern Lights Safari on the Helgeland Coast
Join an unforgettable Northern Lights experience along the southern part of the Helgeland coast. Aboard a comfortable yacht, we set out in search of the magical Aurora Borealis in one of Norway’s most scenic coastal areas. With the sea beneath us and the sky above, we glide silently across calm waters, far from city lights and noise.
The tour departs from Toft and takes you on a peaceful evening cruise in pursuit of the Northern Lights. Here, far from artificial light and distractions, the sky opens up to reveal a canopy of stars – and when the conditions are right, the Northern Lights dance above you.
From the yacht, you drift quietly across the fjord as the light reflects off the water around you. The silence, crisp air, and slow color shifts across the sky create an atmosphere you won’t soon forget. With few distractions and a comfortable setting, this is a tranquil and deeply moving way to experience the Northern Lights.
