Unique among Lofoten's northern lights tours, Arctic Guide Service operates the only tour starting on the island of Vestvågøy, right in the middle of the Lofoten archipelago. The island's singular geography, combined with its central position, gives us so many more options when it comes to viewing the aurora. With beaches, mountain passes, fishing villages and neighbouring islands all within easy reach, the beauty of the northern lights will be perfectly complemented by the beauty of the surroundings they dance above.
When it comes to the northern lights, a camera “sees” much more than the human eye. For this reason, your guide will be someone with both experience and expertise in capturing this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. They will provide you with a comprehensive explanation of how best to use your camera's settings to get the most memorable results.
In addition to your camera, we recommend you bring a tripod, and warm clothes and shoes. We'll provide a little extra warmth in the form of a hot drink and cookies!

Suitable for groups of 1-15 persons. Friends, families etc.
Practical info:
Activity Level: Participating on this tour you must be able to walk steps into / off the bus, stairs, uneven terrain.
Mobility: People with disabilities need to notify us if special transport needs are required. Such requirements will be subject to the availability of suitable transport.
