Oslo Hiking: Frognerbekken walk

Nice and easily accessible tour along the river Frognerbekken

Discover the beautiful nature of Oslo with a guided tour from the city centre. Escape from the urban hustle and bustle and enjoy a pleasant walk along the river, surrounded by lush shady trees.

The tour starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre where the group will take public transportation to the starting point of the walk. You are still centrally located, yet you are on your way to an exciting valley and river in the middle of Oslo city centre!

You will hike through the Vigeland park when you will find yourself in the wild forest! At least that is what it feels like. There is a charming and accessible path along the riverbank, where you will cross bridges, enjoy waterfalls, frothing rapids and lush trees while listening to birds twittering around you. The trip finishes at Thune station where you will take public transportation back to Jernbanetorget where the tour started. This is a trip that is suitable for wheelchair users and strollers.
