Overview

Campfire experiences in beautiful nature

This tour is the best way to experience how locals enjoy nature – and Oslo Hiking’s expert guides know how to do it right!

The tour starts in the city centre near the tiger statue at Jernbanetorget. You will then take the train to Sognsvann – an idyllic lake surrounded by green forest.

The walk in the forest is followed by a barbecue on the lake shore. You will listen to local myths and stories and learn about Norwegian outdoor food traditions. You will also have a chance to taste some of the most "Norwegian" food every local enjoys from time to time!

After the cosy campfire session, you will take a short train ride back to the city centre.
