From the meeting point you drive ca 10 minutes further in the fjord where you park your car and start the hike. From sea level you start in relatively flat terrain, but after a few hundred meters you begin the ascend towards Middagsfjellet. Your guide will make sure to make good stops along the way, so that you can both catch your breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery. At the top there will be a longer stop to enjoy you lunch before you continue in varied terrain to the cabin.
Upon arrival at Haakonsbu everyone will settle in and have some free time before dinner prepared by your chef in the evening.
Return after breakfast the next morning, following the same route back to your car.
