Looking for a one-of-a-kind overnight experience?
This tour is conducted by Tromsø Aurora Husky. Spend the night at our unique husky campsite on the island of Kvaløya, just 30 minutes from Tromsø.
Join us for an unforgettable overnight adventure at our husky camp. Sleep under the stars, cuddle up with the huskies, and gaze at the sky in hopes of spotting the northern lights. We’re far from light pollution, so on clear nights, the aurora often puts on a spectacular show.
Everything you need for a comfortable stay — from warm sleeping gear to cosy clothing — is provided.
Inclusions: • Overnight stay at our campsite on Kvaløya, with all sleeping equipment included (private tent with a double bed, pillows, warm duvet, etc.). The accommodation fits two people, but a small child may share the double bed with their parents.
• A warming dinner, breakfast, and hot beverages. Please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking.
• Warm clothes and boots available for loan.
• Plenty of cuddle time with our lovely huskies!
• Optional sauna session or use of snowshoes to explore the area.
• Chance to see the northern lights, weather permitting.
• Return transport from Tromsø to Kvaløya included, with pick-up at the Radisson Blu Hotel Tromsø at 17:45.
About the experience: Join us for a memorable overnight adventure just outside Tromsø, where comfort meets wilderness. From 15 December 2025 to 31 March 2026, we welcome you to our cosy husky camp – home to our retired sled dogs, playful puppies, and those enjoying a well-deserved rest.
Enjoy a peaceful evening in nature, far from city lights, with the chance to witness the magical northern lights dancing overhead.
This is a quiet and intimate overnight stay at our winter camp near Tromsø, where you’ll have your own private tent equipped with warm sleeping gear and reindeer hides for extra comfort. With just four tents available, each sleeping two guests (and space for a small child to share the double bed), the setting is exclusive and personal.
We gather around the open fireplace, enjoy hot chocolate and other warm drinks, and take time to relax, listen to the silence, and watch the flames flicker – and perhaps the sky, too.
You’ll meet some of our huskies – retired sled dogs, energetic puppies, or those simply enjoying a night off – and hear stories about life in the Arctic with them.
