Stora Lee is approx. 80 km long and has a rich bird life. The sea has a total of 365 islands. That is an island every day of the year! The rich bird life means that there are many bird sanctuaries in Stora Lee, so remember that you can not go ashore on all the islands. Watch out and you may be lucky to see one or more ospreys. Stora Lee has boulders and sandy beaches where you can relax, swim and sunbathe.
If you want to travel further, you can paddle to Lennartsfors and lock your way further down through Vänern and all the way to Gothenburg if you want! Take many stops along the way and enjoy the ride. Remember to bring a thermos and packed lunch!
The trip can be suitable for most people, including children accustomed to hiking from approx. 10 years.

At Stora Lee Camping they rent out both canoes and kayaks.
