The sculpture "Piece Is a Promise of the Future" made by artist Håkon Anton Fagerås, from Bø in Telemark, Norway, was reveiled august 6th 2006. 60 years after The United States released the atomic bomb over Hiroshima. The sculpture is intended to be easy to interpret, provident and symbolise Northern Norwegian optimism. By appealing towards kids, it symbolises playfullness, future life, survivability, and with association of the message from Hiroshima.
