Pedalboats Hallerud farm, Lyseren

Hallerud Gård is a family-owned farm by Lake Lyseren. For over 100 years, they have had guests at the farm. Here you can explore the scenic landscape and the lake in all its glory. They have now got pedal boats for loan.

Pedal boats

The pedal boats belong to Indre Østfold municipality. Hallerud farm has been commissioned to handle these. The key can be picked up in the cafe -  Stallkafeen, on the farm during its opening hours (Wednesday-Sunday 11am-4pm).

Information about pedal boats at Hallerud Badeplass

It is your own responsibility to use the pedal boats and the following rules apply:

Be considerate of other swimmers, so that no one gets hurt
Borrower must be over 18 years of age
Borrower must be sober
The borrower is responsible for the pedal boats not having more people on board than it is approved for (Recommended 2 adults and 2 children. The pedal boat is approved for 300Kg)
Everyone on board the pedal boat must use an approved life jacket. These must be presented before lending, can be rented for NOK 75 each
Inflicted damage and vandalism to borrowed/rented equipment must be covered by the borrower.
(If the pedal boat or borrowed/rented equipment is damaged or has defects, the borrower must notify Hallerud Farm as soon as the damage occurs or is discovered).
The pedal boat is returned at the agreed time (borrowing time is normally 2 hours)
The pedal boat must be locked in the same place it was picked up. The key and life jackets must be returned before the loan period has expired.

How to borrow pedal boats?
The pedal boats can be borrowed during the time period Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm. You can get the key to the lock in the Stallkafeen at Hallerud Gård, Vatnveien 37.
A loan agreement must be signed before the key to the pedal boat is handed over.
Hallerud bathing area is right next to it and can offer a nice long shallow sandy beach, perfect for families with children.
