The trail to Reinsfjell is an easy to moderate hike that takes approx 2- 3 hrs roundtrip.
The trail is visible all the way with signs to "Reinsfjell". and there are no very steeps parts, the trail climbs gently all the way with the exception of the part down to Malmtjønn. The trail to Reinsfjell starts right next to Hitvegen, behind the green road signs to Hornsjøen by the bench. Follow the signs to Reinsfjell down to the small beautiful lake, Malmtjønn.
When by Malmtjønn, continue onwards on the same trail, up to Pellevegen. Right next to Pellevegen, on the other side of the road you will see the sign showing you the way to Reinsfjell.
At the top you get great views overlooking Øyerfjellet and Hafjell, and you also get to see the top of the mountains in Rondane and Jotunheimen.
