Overview

A nature experience tailor made, for example: skiing, snowshoeing, musk ox safari, ice fishing, trapping, randoneeing, enjoying nature, brewing coffee outside, stay overnight in a tent if wanted

Snowy mountains and plains, grouse making noise outside our tent, enjoying the starry sky. What makes a better experience of nature than the Norwegian mountains in winter? Realize your dreams with our experienced guides - get a safe experience in a snowcovered mountain landscape. The mountain areas surrounding Oppdal are Dovrefjell National Park, Knutshø- and Forollhogna National Parks and the mountain massif Trollheimen - a great base for skiing or snowshoeing through winter wonderland. How about combining the trip with ice fishing and trapping grouse? Our guides are experienced outdoors people and share local history, hunting & fishing techniques, as well as being good company. Another possibility is to do the excursion in Dovrefjell National Park to experience the “prehistoric beast” – the musk ox - in it’s natural environment. You might also be lucky and encounter a fox or a reindeer herd? If you wish to stay overnight, we recommend to spend the night in a tent – the nature experience is great. If the weather forecast predicts tough weather, cabin accommodation can be arranged. If you are courageous and there is plenty of snow, we suggest an overnight stay in a warm snow cave.
