Petrines Gjestgiveri has an intimate restaurant with a homely atmosphere. Our menu is based on local and regional produce, sometimes prepared in a traditional way, but just as often prepared in more a contemporary style. Either way, we aim to offer something special that represents the village and our immediate area.
According to the season, you can find deer, goat (kid), 'herdalskre' (trout from Herdalsvatnet lake), salmon, home-made caramel pudding, apple and plumcakes on our menu. Our home-made apple juice tastes wonderful and is the perfect accompaniment to our food.
Breakfast is served 8-10am, lunch at 1-5pm and dinner 6 and 8 pm every day in the summer season June 15th - August 30th. Please book a table if you want to have dinner with us, whether you are staying overnight with us or not. For lunch, you do not have to book a table unless you are a group larger than 6 persons.
