This tour is conducte by Tromsø Safari. Learn how to capture the magic of the Northern Lights on your own camera.
Your tutor is a skilled photographer who shares his or her knowledge and secret tips in details on this course.
As well as Northern Lights photography, this introduction gives you a good grip of night-time photography, which will come in handy any time you wish to capture the beauty of the dark nights.
We also dwell on the myths behind the Aurora, which are full of sadness, beauty and dark warnings and give an insight into how our ancestors interpreted the world around them. Part of the course will also look at the science behind the Aurora and teach you about the local weather patterns and how we can use this information to predict the chances of seeing the lights.
A “must-do” activity for those who would like to get the most out of their Northern Lights stay in Tromsø and add an extra dimension before joining an organised Aurora Safari or going out on your own.
This activity is a highly recommended supplement to all Tromsø Safari’s Northern Lights products.
