This visitor and information centre provides guidance and helps to facilitate pilgrimage walks, both between Oslo and Nidaros and locally. It is strategically located at what used to be a part of Hamarkaupangen, with its market and settlement, and the diocese.
It also sells pilgrims' passports, which are used to document pilgrimages. If you have walked the last 100 kilometres to Trondheim, you are entitled to receive an Olav Letter. The centre also has a separate pilgrims' hostel where we offer accomodation in two dormitory rooms, based on self catering.
