Are you looking for the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime adventure? Journey through Fjord Norway, from Stavanger to Bergen, and join guided hikes to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) & Trolltunga along the way. Simplify your experience – leave the planning up to us!

Are you looking for an ultimate once-in-a-lifetime hiking adventure? Have you dreamed about visiting Norway’s spectacular fjords, but have a limited amount of time?  Experience two of Fjord Norway’s most iconic natural wonders in less than 3 days. Journey through the region’s scenic countryside and join professionally-guided hikes to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and Trolltunga.

10,000 years ago, the last ice age ended, and massive glaciers scraped their way from the mountain tops down toward sea level. In the process, Norway’s rugged landscapes, most notably its fjords, were uncovered. Some of the world’s most spectacular outdoor scenery can be enjoyed from atop Preikestolen and Trolltunga, both of which are located deep within Norway’s raw wilderness. Besides being spectacular nature destinations, the landmarks share the distinction of being two of Norway’s most popular outdoor tourist destinations.

Preikestolen, which clings 604 meters above sea-level, offers panoramic views of the Lysefjord and its surrounding mountains. In 2019, approximately 300,000 hikers are expected to find their way up to the imposing plateau. Trolltunga, or the troll’s tongue, is a long rock that juts out from a cliffside, 700 meters above Ringedalsvatnet lake. Although much less accessible than Preikestolen, Trolltunga expects to attract more than 100,000 visitors in 2019.

While the vast majority of visitors hike to Preikestolen along the main trail during daytime hours, our signature sunrise hike allows guests to experience the beauty of the Lysefjord in near-solitude. Hike to Preikestolen during twilight hours and catch the sun rising over the Lysefjord before the crowds of tourists have even begun to make their way up the trail.

During the Trolltunga Classic Hike, guests hike the 26-kilometer-long trail while experiencing some of the rawest nature found in all of Fjord Norway. Along the way, visitors pass through a variety of landscapes including forests and barren, glacier-scoured mountaintops.

Our professional guides are trained to safely maneuver rapidly-changing weather and trail conditions, and carry with them all necessary navigation, safety, and first-aid equipment. During the hikes, they will share stories about local natural and cultural history.

Between hikes, travel by car/bus through the Norwegian countryside, and enjoy a variety of landscapes including meadows, lakes, narrow valleys, mountains, and fjords.
