Preikestolen hike – off the beaten track
Preikestolen is one of the most stunning and thus most populair hikes in Norway. Every year, approximately 250.000 hikers find their way up to the cliff, hanging at 604 metres above the Lysefjord.
Avoid the crowds hiking up and down the main path and join us on a roundtrip off the beaten track to enjoy a unique Preikestolen experience.
We start by canoeing across the Refsvatn Lake, after which we hike 70% on off the map trails – forgotten and overgrown – while 30% of the hike includes relatively easy off-trail scrambling. We hike a roundtrip, providing you with new sceneries throughout the whole hike.
Why? To hike in solitude and reach out-of-this world views over the Lysefjord and the Preikestolen that only few people have seen before.
This hike is not for beginning hikers. You need to be in good shape and up for a challenge.
