Puppy Training Package
This tour is conducted by Tromsø Villmarkssenter. Join in on the most fun part of our job and help take our puppies out for training.

One of Tromsø Villmarkssenter’s main ambitions is participation in dog sledding races, and the training of our huskies throughout the entire year is therefore essential.
In summer it is time for our puppies to receive their first lessons. After a 25 minutes drive from Tromsø, you will be welcomed by our guides and receive a tour of our facilities. Afterwards, you will accompany an experienced handler on a 1-1.5 hour long hike and help train our newest sled dogs, who are between 4 weeks and 7 months old. We will do different exercises to teach them teamwork with other dogs and humans.
Thereafter we will serve you a delicious lunch of Bacalao, a fish dish that is part of the traditional Norwegian cuisine, around an open fire in our Gamme-hut. A vegetarian option is available upon preliminary request.
Included: guiding, transfer (25 min. each way), hot lunch, rain clothes and boots, chocolate cake, hot drinks.
Departure time and place: 09:30am (09:30) from Radisson Blu Hotel
Latest meeting time: 15 minutes before departure.
