This tour is conducted by Tromsø Villmarkssenter. Take part in the most fun part of our jobs, training the next generation of sled dogs!
Of the 300 Alaskan huskies at Tromsø Villmarkssenter´s husky farm the puppies are most important. Join our experienced handlers and train the youngest sled dogs who are from 4 weeks to 6 months. We will take the puppies out for an 1 - 1.5 hour hike close to the husky farm and do different exercises in wilderness depending on the age of the puppies.
The terrain we travel through is predominantly heath and moor, so bring waterproof shoes if you have them. If you need to, you can rent shoes and/or rain clothes for a low fee
