The walk around Rødstjødnå lake is especially nice on a sunny summerday, when the children can swim in the relatively warm water, whilst you prepare for picknick or grilling! The road passes Tinghaug - the pittoresque house where the painter Samuel Tveit used to live. Here there is an open café and regularly art exhibitions every sunday from 12am - 4pm in the summer months.
The path follows the road around the lake, but the beginning and end of the round are on a well-established path that takes you passed the Sauda golf course. Nice trip for families with small children.
