Welcome to the newly renovated Radisson Blu Polar Hotel, a family-friendly hotel in the heart of Longyearbyen.

The hotel is a meeting place for guests from all over the world and has conference rooms with great views, lobby with fireplace, restaurant and pub.



The hotel has 95 rooms, including 67 standard rooms, 26 junior suites and 2 suites. All rooms are well equipped with bathroom, TV, bathrobe, slippers, kettle and minibar.



In our junior suites you can meet some of the most fascinating polar personalities we have. The junior suites were created in 2015 and are decorated with pictures and stories from our polar heritage.



At the hotel restaurant, Restaurant Nansen, we have gathered the best raw materials from the Arctic and combined them with Asian flavours. Asian fusion is one of the largest food trends in the world and you can look forward to a culinary experience while enjoying the views of the beautiful Adventfjord and Hiorth Mountain.



Barentz Gastropub offers delicious pub food with an Arctic twist. We’ve thrown ourselves into the competition for Svalbard's best pizza, and the menu is full of delicious, warming hot spots.



This is the world's northernmost full service hotel, and it was completed in March 1995. In February 2019 it reopened after further refurbishment, and today it is a modern hotel, reflecting the Arctic lifestyle.



In the hotel lobby there are lounges where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in front of the fireplace. Or how about a visit to the hot sauna after a day out in the wilderness? We also have a lovely hot tub with views towards the beautiful Hiorth Mountain.
